New Home

I go to graduate school in North Chicago.

I'm getting my PhD in Biomedical Science.

Before you left I said that you can bet I'll be bothering you soon.
You said, "No bother, please do."
I've called you twice.
It's been a hellish fight to not think about you all the time,
Sitting around waiting for your call.

Tomatoes or cucumber based salads
Mail of any sort, sending and/or receiving
The sense of completion after a long hard day
Writing short stories/anecdotes that you can read if you'd like
Making fun of old pictures and reminiscing about the good times

I find sarcasm and bluntness refreshing in a world where almost everybody is pretending to be something they're not. (I try not to be as negative as I may sound)

I love my dog.

There's always time for a mindless activity (aka TV)

I wake up to find it's another
Four aspirin morning, and I dive in
I put on the same clothes I wore yesterday.
When did society decide that we had to change
And wash a tee shirt after every individual use:
If it's not dirty, I'm gonna wear it.

My feet always being dirty

Inhaling other people's cigarette smoke
Customer Service and being put on hold
My little cousins being whores on MySpace
When commercials are louder than tv shows
All of my electronics deciding to break at the same time


Breathe in, breathe out. Let go. I don't know what I'm sorry for, but I am sorry.

I spend more time watching TV than listening to music, but sometimes it feels like my life needs a soundtrack so I blast the music out. I listen to music when I'm doing anything in the bathroom, even if it's for 2 minutes I turn the radio on. I try to remember my mp3 player when I'm in my lab because it makes time fly. Pandora.com is making my life exponentially better.

Oh boy, the only things I don't listen to are screaming, LOTS of screaming until your vocal cords bleed is not ok with me and most techno because it gives me a headache after a little while. I like WORDS that aren't SCREAMED or ELECTRONIC.
