i'll impress you with my old converse shoes and my cigarette hanging limply between two shaking fingers. i chipped my black nail polish purposely so you'd think i was careless. i'll offer you a drag whenever we're in the middle of an awkward silence.
the smoke is getting in my eyes and making them sting so bad so i'll rub them until all of my red eyeshadow comes off and then i'll have an excuse to reapply.
maybe you'll love me more when i'm made up.

then i could be affectionnate and get away with it...but only under the influence.
i'll fake a stomach ache (or maybe a heartbreak?) so you'll hold me closer when you comfort me. and you make me feel so much better than any advil could.
i could kiss you and blame it on the chemicals pumping furiously through my veins just because you won't let me get close to you otherwise.
and maybe if i'm lucky you'll smoke up with me, so we get drunk off each others sensitivity. let's take advantage of one another and forget everything in the morning. let's inhale the scent of infatuation lingering in the night sky and not feel guilty about our urges because we "just can't control it right now" .
