Among the other percentage of people doing a big scale down on buying gifts, I'll be there with them this year. Yes I have a job and am now forced to get 2, I still won't be able to afford the usual gifts I buy my family which really sucks.
I feel so guilty for buying food and beer earlier in the semester because now I'm broke and I don't even wanna spend money on myself.. I just wanna be able to drive and visit people and get xmas gifts :(
I'm trying to get a job but I wish I'd have money for black Friday !! maybe my sister will go with me and I can pay her back with interest right before xmas or something :o)
My whole extended family is getting together for the first time in over ten years, we all haven't been in the same room since my aunt passed away, and we all decided that gifts were pointless and we'd rather enjoy each others company and we're going to pool all of our gift money together and donate it to a charity instead.
My friends think I'm crazy for asking them in November what they want for Christmas. But honestly I've got to plan out my spending paycheck to paycheck so I can actually get everyone something. My mom is going to be the most expensive person obviously, but I'm kinda bummed I don't have enough money to get her hockey tickets.
i wish i could or well, wanted to. theres over 15 kids in mine so no thanks lol
I have tons of cousins, so I just get them gift cards to GameStop since all they like is video games. I bought them video games last year, and they all said the games were too "girly" My nephews are easily pleased, so they will be real easy to shop for.
the only people i buy gifts for are my parents.
my friends and i have an understanding that our christmas gifts are that we don't have to get each other christmas gifts. :)
the rest of my relatives live across the ocean, so they get nothing haha.
