I only ever played the one on the Sega Megadrive. I remember I did I swap with my friend, I let him borrow my SNES and Battletoads AND NHL if he let me borrow his crappy Master System 1 and Phantasy Star. So sooo fucking awesome.

2 and 3 seem like they're completely unrelated to the first (they aren't even in the same world), but then 4 comes.. you assume it's another unrelated title, as well.. then last half of the game.. BAM! All four titles are linked together. PSIV was so.. SO.. ridiculously complex for its time.
